County fair tabloid inside

The award winning Smith County Fair—The Fair on the River tabloid is inside this week’s edition of the Courier.

Included in the tabloid is registration and starting times for events/contests, dates for events/contests, rules and regulations for events/contests, as well as when gates open and listing of exhibits and entertainment line-up.

The tabloid also includes  any entry fee for contests, ride costs, parking information, handicap access information and admission fee.

Also included in the tabloid is a map of the fair grounds. By reviewing the map visitors will know the location of each event/exhibit, location of restrooms, activities, etc.

The county fair is the year’s most anticipated event in Smith County and runs from Monday through Saturday, July 1-6.

Copies of the 2024 edition of the Smith County Fair-The Fair on the River tabloid are available at the front counter of the Courier, as well as area businesses.

James Gang Amusements is providing the carnival rides again this year.

The midway opens at 6 p.m. each night.

The county fair will be returning for its 18 consecutive year since its rebirth.
