Obit – Mr. James Willard “Jim” Fuller
Mr. James Willard ‘Jim’ Fuller, age 91 of Cabot, AR., died December 3, 2024 at Smith County Health and Rehab in Carthage, TN, where he had lived since August 17, 2023. He was a son of William Coy Fuller who died May 23, 1996, at age 91, and Hazel Nipper Fuller who died July 02, 1991, at age 85. Jim was born March 22, 1933, in Cane Township (Beebe), AR and raised on the family farm.
He served in the United States Army from May 06, 1953 to May 02, 1955, and married Edna Louise Pendley of Old Hickory, TN on July 22, 1955. After graduating from Tennessee Tech in March 1958, he worked for many years with Dun and Bradstreet in Alabama and Tennessee. He and Louise moved back to Cabot, AR in 1983, where among other jobs he worked as a teacher’s assistant in the local schools and a greeter at Wal-mart. He was a member of the Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Cabot where he had served as a Sunday School teacher and a deacon. Mr. Fuller was moved back to Tennessee shortly after his wife, Louise, died May 25, 2020, at age 84.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by brothers, Wendell and Cyrel Fuller; an unnamed infant sister; son-in-law, Ed Gray; and great-grandson, Aiden Henry.
He is survived by children: Jim (Barbara) Fuller of Carthage, TN; Gary (Jenny) Fuller of Avon, NC; Jill Fuller Gray of Springfield, TN; and Sabrina (C.W.) Fuller Breeding of Cabot, AR. Grandchildren: Beth Gray, Caleb (Chelsea) Gray, Rebecca (Ben) Rogers, Alisha Breeding, Cierra (Jonathan) Tate, Ashley (David) Henry, Brittany (Michael) Buynack, and Joseph (Ashley) Fuller. Great Grandchildren: Summer Breeding, Ava Henry, Noah Henry, Harper Rogers, Bennett Rogers, Roland Buynack, Keely Buynack, Ezra Fuller, Ana Fuller, Matthew Gray, Atlas Tate and arriving soon Beckett Gray. Also survived by his sister, June (Harold) Stribling, and brother, Myron (Dawn) Fuller.
Mr. Fuller will be transported back to Cabot, AR for his funeral and will be buried beside his wife in the Mount Olive Cemetery, Floyd, AR.
