Three face charges after house search

Three people face charges in connection with a sheriffs department investigation which resulted in the discovery of multiple drugs and the seizure of more than 50 firearms.

The discovery was made during the execution of a search warrant at a residence located on Brooks Hollow Lane which is located off Friendship Hollow Lane between the Pleasant Shade and Defeated communities.

The search took place on April 17 as K-9 officer Lt. Junior Fields, Sgt Robbie Woodard and Deputy Burl Johnson went to the Brooks Hollow Lane residence to execute a  search warrant on three people in connection with the alleged conspiracy to distribute Hydrocodone pills, according to an offense report filed by Sgt. Fields. 

While executing the search warrant, “a set of digital scales, baggies, 15 ounces of marijuana, 10 ounces of THC edibles with no CBD, Alprazolam pills and 7.5 milligram Hydrocodone pills, consisted with those prescribed to a female subject”, were located, according to the offense report.

In addition 56 firearms were located in an open safe, .6 ounces of marijuana and 1.3 grams of methamphetamine were located, according to the offense report.

The drugs were confiscated and firearms seized during the search.
