Obit – Mrs. Julia K. “Judy” Clemons

Mrs. Julia K “Judy” Clemons, age 72 of Lancater, TN passed away Monday October 16, 2023. 

Judy was born on December 18, 1950 in Carthage, TN daughter of the late William Henry “Junior” Williams and Eleanor Faye McDonald Williams, she was also preceded in death by two brothers: William Steve Williams and Keith Williams. She was a 1968 graduate of Gordonsville High School, worked for Quick and Easy market in South Carthage and was a member of the Lancaster United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Clemons is survived by three sons: William Thomas “Bud” Clemons of Hartsville, TN, Dennis Christopher “Chris” Clemons of Lancaster, TN, and Benjamin (Courtney) Sweet of Kansas City, Kansas; sister: Rachel Williams of Silver Point, TN; brother: John (Wanda) Williams of Lancaster, TN; two sister-in-law, Julie Williams of Lancaster, TN and Linda Williams of Brush Creek, TN; grandchildren, Robert Clemons, Josh Clemons, Dustin Clemons, Jacob Clemons, and Caroline Sweet; one great-grandchild: Chloe, several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Clemons was at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes.

There will be a visitation held at a later date, the time and place will be announced when it is available.

The Clemons family request memorial donations in her memory be made to Bass Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
