By Eddie West Staff Writer

A sheriffs department deputy located a vehicle reported stolen from a Davidson County body shop with the suspect inside in the New Middleton community.

A Knoxville man now faces multiple charges in connection with the discovery.

Deputy Nathan Williams first spotted the stolen vehicle on Interstate 40.

After falling in behind the Nissan Maxima, Deputy Williams noticed the driver repeatedly changing lanes of travel before exiting the interstate in the New Middleton community turning onto Alexandria Highway.

The driver pulled into a church parking lot near the exit.

Upon checking, the vehicle was determined to be in violation of the window tint law, according to an offense report filed by Deputy Williams.
