Obit – Mr. Christopher Allen Amacher

Mr. Christopher Allen Amacher, age 63, of Hickman, TN, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Mr. Amacher was born November 23, 1961 in Nashville, TN. He was married to Virginia Ann Beck Amacher on December 4, 1999, and she passed away November 24, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Riley Amacher; mother, Edna Louise Colbert Amacher, and father-in-law Frank Beck. He was retired from First Amendment Center in Nashville, TN where he was a audio-visual specialist. He loved making home movies and photography. He was a farmer who loved raising goats and donkeys and other farm animals. He loved hiking and camping.

Mr. Amacher is survived by a son Christian Beck Amacher of Carthage, TN, daughters: Mary Nicole “Nikki” (Adam) Craig of Bethpage, TN and Ashley Ann Babcock of Westmoreland, TN; sister, Beth Amacher (Norman) Towne of Atlanta, GA; mother of his daughters, Pamela Ann Amacher; mother-in-law, Mrs. Shirley Skaggs Beck of Brentwood, TN, grandchildren: Layla, Jada, Riley, Sadie, and Mavrik, sister-in-law, Suzanne (Billy) Jones of Nolensville, TN; nephews, Toby Towne and Jesse Towne.

Funeral Services for Mr. Amacher were conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Monday November 10, 2025 at 3 PM with Bro. Floyd Massey officiating. Interment followed in the Gordonsville Cemetery in Gordonsville, TN.

Mr. Amacher’s family request memorial donations in his memory be made to Bass Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
