Maneuvers event Saturday

Downtown Carthage will be filled Saturday with exhibits, military vehicles and activities as the Tennessee Maneuvers Remembered event will take place.
Held in recognition of the World War II maneuvers which took place in Smith County and around Middle Tennessee, the event is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All types of military vehicles and combat weapons as well as World War II related displays, a military encampments, etc. are included in the event.
This year’s event will include exhibits in the Smith County Heritage Museum as well as an eight stop self-guided driving tour.
The lineup includes:
10 a.m.—”Revile”-Les McDonald, welcome and announcements-Tressa Bush, color and flags-101st Airborne, Prayer-Walter Wallace Jr., Pledge of Allegiance-John Arthur “Quin” Sanders V, National Anthem-Allana Elliot of the Five Oh First Group
