Obit – Mrs. Ramona Collinge

Mrs. Ramona Collinge age 69 of Carthage was pronounced deceased at 12:30 p.m. Monday afternoon November 6, 2023 by Caris Hospice at the Vivian Lane home of her son and daughter-in-law.

Mrs. Collinge was at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home and was prepared for transfer to the O’Donnell Funeral Home in Lowell, Massachusetts for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Chelmsford Township in suburban Lowell.

She was the daughter of the late Puerto  Rico native, Ramon Perez who died January 12, 2018 at the age of 92 and Baltimore, Maryland native, Virginia McCall Perez who died July 26, 2011 at the age of 78 and was born Ramona Lee Perez in Baltimore, Maryland on October 27, 1954.

Mrs. Collinge was a 1972 graduate of Dixie Hollins High School in St. Petersburg, Florida.

On June 24, 1976 she was united in marriage to Lowell, Massachusetts native, Steven Lee Collinge. He preceded her in death at the age of 49 on October 20, 2001.

She was also preceded in death by her only brother, Raymond (Ray) Perez.

Before retiring in 2014, she was a clerk for the Market Basket in Hudson, New Hampshire. 

The Collinge family relocated to Carthage from Maynard, Massachusetts in November of 2020.

Surviving are her three children, Joshua Collinge and wife Alanna Rizzitano-Collinge of Carthage, Barry Collinge Methuen, Massachusetts, Nathan Collinge and wife Erin of Danville, New Hampshire; two sisters, Linda Gay of Tewksbury, New Hampshire, Darlene Gorman of Nashua, New Hampshire; two grand-daughters, Kalli Collinge and Kaelin Collinge both of Danbury, New Hampshire; grandson, Dashaun Hancock of Carthage; sister-in-law, Joyce Aldrich and husband Daniel of Randolph, New Hampshire.
