Obit – Ms. Jacqueline “Jackie” Watson Gregory
Ms. Jacqueline “Jackie” Watson Gregory, age 61 of Hartsville, TN passed away Monday evening, September 23, 2024 at Sumner Regional Medical Center, Gallatin, TN.
Jackie was born June 10, 1963 in Hartsville, TN to the late Ira & Lucille Merryman Watson. Jackie was a loyal friend, sister, daughter and mother, all titles she was the most proud of and enjoyed. She spent countless hours at her job and truly believed in hard work and dedication.
Jackie’s proudest title was being a mother to her three girls! She was selfless, dedicated, determined and devoted to Miranda, Megan and Audrey. She never once missed a sporting event, long pageant days and enjoyed vacations and many shopping days with her girls. Later in life, grandchildren came and my goodness the joy they brought her. She truly enjoyed family time most of all. Mark, her companion, only brought more fulfillment out of her life. Their time spent was full of weekly outings with close friends, multiple vacations a year and more laughs than imagined! Mark was so very important to Jackie and important to her girls and grandchildren!
Jackie lived to truly make people feel loved. She gave so much to everyone and never asked for anything in return. She was humble, private and strong, beyond strong! She was valued, loved and respected and will always be cherished throughout the lives of those she influenced.
She is survived by: 3 Daughters, Miranda (C.J.) Babcock-Hartsville, TN, Megan (Daniel) Jones-Hartsville, TN, Audrey (Michael) Scruggs-Hartsville, TN; Special Companion, Mark Duke-Carthage, TN, Mark’s Son, Matthew (Kim) Duke-Hartsville, TN; 7 Grandchildren, Lucas Scruggs, Jayde Babcock, Liam Duke, Cullen Babcock Jr., Miles Babcock, Bo Duke and Everly Babcock; 2 Brothers, Bobby Watson-Bethpage, TN, Carlos “Shorty” Watson-Hartsville, TN; Sister, Tara (Randy) Watson-Post-Lebanon, TN
