Obit – Master Johnathan Hernandez

Master Johnathan Hernandez, new born son of Amber Marie Seagraves Hernandez of the Rome Community and Abdiel Hernandez Escalante of Parksley, Virginia, was pronounced deceased at birth at 12:54 a.m. Thursday morning August 14, 2025 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Master Hernandez was at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home and the parents opted for cremation and that was performed at the Cumberland Family Services in Algood.

No public services have been scheduled.

Surviving in addition to his parents are seven siblings, Marcos, Miguel and Juan Romero Lopez, Aleny, Ashley, Adryan, and Ibrahim Hernandez Lopez; maternal grandparents, Mark and Teresa Seagraves of the Bowlings Branch Community, Paternal Grandparents, Alfredo Hernandez Rojas and Felipe Santas Escalante Perez of Guatemala.
