Obit – Mrs. Diana Lynn Johnson

Mrs. Diana Lynn Johnson, age 66, of the Club Springs Community in Smith County, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

Mrs. Johnson was born July 25, 1960 in Trenton, NJ, a daughter of the late Raymond Wesley Temple and Edith Gloria McPeak Temple. She married Michael Landon Johnson and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by Son; Joseph Robert Murphy, III, and Grandson; Joseph Robert Murphy, IV.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by Son; Brian Patrick Murphy of Defeated, TN. Daughters; Megan (Jason) Preston of Buffalo Valley, TN, and Katelyn (CJ) Diviaio of Buffalo Valley, TN. Step-son; Auston Munson of Columbia, TN. Grandchildren; Emma Murphy, Shane Hudson, Ben Stacy, Jake Stacy, Elizabeth Preston, and John Munson. Three great-grandchildren; Jamey, Easton, and Kaison. Several nieces and nephews. Lifelong friend; Barbara Spinola. Loyal canine companion; Bella.

Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Johnson were held at the Gordonsville City Park, Shelter 1, on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 2PM. 

Family and friends gathered at the shelter just prior to the 2PM service. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to Bass Funeral Home.
